Susan looks happy

This is a photo of Susan and her family with her Boyfriends Family. They look very happy after their holiday
. I am please she has met someone who actually cares for her and her family. Can that be said of ex husband Anthony Whitby who still has not paid her maintenance money for his children?
I struggle to understand men who have children then have affairs and then try and deny their full responsibility. You can understand that a man and wife can no longer live with each other but why take it out on the children? Surely the first duty of a father is to look after their children?
It seems this man wants 50% of the house, which could make Susan and her family homeless? I thought the duty of a father was to make sure his children have a roof over their heads

But then again I am of a generation who took fatherhood seriously and showed a duty of care obviously in this day and age that is not the case

Interesting Comments from a Friend

WHAT CAUSES ARTHRITIS?

A drunk man who smelled like beer
sat down on a subway next to a priest.
The man's tie was stained, his face
was plastered with red lipstick and
a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking
out of his torn coat pocket.
He opened his newspaper and
began reading.

After a few minutes the man
turned to the priest and asked,
'Say Father, what causes arthritis?'

The priest replies, 'My Son, it's caused
by loose living, being with cheap,
wicked women, too much alcohol,
contempt for your fellow man,
sleeping around with prostitutes
and lack of a bath!'

The drunk muttered in response,
'Well, I'll be  damned,'
Then returned to his paper.

The priest, thinking about what
he had said, nudged the man
       and apologized   .
'I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to
come on so strong.
How long have you had arthritis?'

The drunk answered, 'I don't have it, Father.
I was just reading here that the Pope does.'

MORAL: Make sure you understand the
question before offering the answer.

A pastor's wife was expecting a baby, so he stood before the congregation and asked for a raise.   After much discussion, they passed a rule that whenever the pastor's family expanded; so would his paycheck.

After 6 children, this started to get expensive and the congregation decided to hold another meeting to discuss the pastor's expanding salary.

A great deal of yelling and inner bickering ensued, as to how much the pastor's additional children were costing the church, and how much more it could potentially cost.

After listening to them for about an hour, the pastor rose from his chair and spoke,   "Children are a gift from God, and we will take as many gifts as He gives us."

Silence fell over the congregation.

In the back pew, a little old lady struggled to stand, and finally said in her frail voice.   "Rain is also a gift from God, but when we get too much of it, we wear rubbers."

The entire congregation said, "Amen."

Gotta love those senior citizens!

Statistics recently released from the United Nations reveal that Australian, Canadian, NZ, UK and U. S. A. men between 50 and 75 years of age, will, on average, have sex two to three times per week, whereas Japanese men, in the same age group, will have sex only once or twice per year if at all.

This is very upsetting news to me and most of my friends, as we had no idea we were Japanese.

Lets get rid of the Lords

I have made it quite clear that I think Working Tax credits are ludicrous and cost the UK Taxpayer over £6 billion just so employers can have a low wage work force and have a bigger profit margin. For the Unelected House of Lords to go against the will of the House of Commons a democratically elected chamber is a disgrace. So time has come to get rid of this unelected Chamber, time for the members to be elected, the USA has an elected second chamber lets look at their system. Some have said voting for another chamber would be difficult, I can not see how every time there is a general Election you vote for an MP for the Commons and then on the same day vote for someone for the other chamber. The second chamber needs to change its name, the Lords still rings of privileges maybe use the USA name Senate. Another idea is you have a General Election to vote in an MP and then have a Proportional representation system using the same votes to select a Senate.
Our whole electoral system needs to change the idea that the SNP gets approx. half the votes to UKIP and gain 35 MP’s and UKIP get 1 MP is ludicrous

If their had been a proportional vote based on percentage the following would have happened:

 650 MP’s

Conservative 247
Labour 202
LibDem 52
UKIP 85
Green 26
All others including SNP/Ulster Parties 38

The Tories would be the biggest party and if they went into Coalition with UKIP they would have a majority of 5.

I much prefer the system where it is a legal requirement to vote and if a candidate does not get over 50% the top two candidates return to the electorate for further vote

Why is that the BBC try and alter History?

Why is that the BBC try and alter History?

In a recent Doctor Who, which I have watched since its start, there was an episode about the Doctor going to the times of Oliver Cromwell. In one piece a man was to be hanged and the villages were baying for his blood. In amongst this crowd of Villagers were Black people since when were Black people part of village community in the 1600’s? Another instance was when they had a programme called “Merlin” this was in the time of King Arthur and in this programme they had Black Knights one wonders how many Black people lived in England in the 6th Century? Then we have the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony which featured Black Mill owners in the eighteen hundreds can anyone name one Black Mill owner in that time?
Although the three examples I have given are fictional and therefore the authors are allowed poetic license BUT why change some of the basic facts of History just for Political Correctness? Of course the lefties will call me racist because I bring the subject up but small anomalies in the truth can lead to larger problems. For example Militant Moslems want to ban the history of the Holocaust

PC has to be watched because they want to completely change our History already some are asking for children not to be taught about our British Empire an Empire which made our Country great and gave a great deal to the World admittedly not all good.

House of Lords

Tax credits: Government defeated over tax credits reforms
House of Lords back motion calling for government to rethink its tax credit cuts and respond to criticism in damaging defeat for George Osborne

So what was the point of the General Election when a gaggle of unelected privileged people called the House of Lords can defeat a Government elected by the people. The hypocrisy of the Labour Party baffles me for years they have asked for the dissolution of the Lords, yet their unelected  labour peers voted to ignore the elected House of Commons.
I personally think Tax Credits are a disgrace the idea that I as a Tax Payer have to pay for some one to work is ludicrous Tax Credits keep wages low and just put more profit into the hands of Big Business and share Holders, these companies should pay a decent wage and the excuse that if wages rise they would go out of business is rubbish maybe if they did not take so much profit and reduced their senior management pay packet everyone would be OK
