Should Paul O'Grady be sacked?

I loathe Cameron – I loathe Osborne. We didn’t vote them in and yet here they are deciding for us.
"I’d like to see their heads on spikes on Tower Bridge. Seriously. I’d sleep well.

Paul O'Grady

To Whom it may concern
I wish to make a complaint about Paul O'Grady. Although a TV celebrity has the choice to support what ever political party they wish and use their TV Celebrity status as a vehicle for their point of view it is a step to far that he advocates the death/Murder of the Prime Minister and the Chancellor . This is according to a Circular being sent round Facebook and other media formats, can I remind you that Jeremy Clarkson was sacked for a less offensive  remark and physical abuse but he was a Conservative supporter while it is obvious that O'Grady is a Labour supporter maybe they can say what the like with impunity
One hopes ITV will ask for a full apology

Gay Obsession

TV, Film, Politics, Press and Radio have obsession with Gay people. All soaps I am told have a gay sub plot even the Archers have a Gay Triangle, more and more Films and TV series have a Gay story and most of the time it has nothing to with the plot or story line. Even our Prime Minister made a statement that he thought Clare Balding epitomised a gay Person WHY?  She is a TV presenter what has that got to do with her sexuality?  Even one of my favourite foreign Detective series “Murdoch Mysteries” has introduced a Lesbian scene, which had nothing to do with the plot.
Why this obsession is it that the industry is trying some sort of social engineering, trying make us the General Public accept the abnormal sexual behaviour of Gay people or is that the Gay Community want even more influence in society then they already have?
In the1960’/70’s when I was young man Queer Bashing was common and Gays were not allowed certain jobs, I was one of them who would say what is the point of beating a Homosexual he cannot change and what has someone’s sex life got to do with them doing a good job. Thankfully things changed when Homosexuals were legalised I even did not mind Civil Partnership as if two people want to share a life they should have some legal protection (Do not agree with Gay Marriage). Yet the Civil Partnership was the start of Gay people getting extra rights, Heterosexual people, relations could not enter into a Civil Partnership. So we now have a minority who were repressed in the 1960’s now in a position of influence way above their numbers.
Of course the liberal/Left Guardian reader will call me homophobic because I dare question the Gay Power and they will ask "do you have  Gay Friends" and the answer like the majority of the population NO.  Why it is quite simply mathematics there is only 1.5% of the population who are Gay, there simply not enough of them to go round. Maybe this the problem could their be a higher percentage who are in the Arts, Media, Entertainment Industry so creating the illusion that is often quoted by various commentators that the gay population is between10 % and 15%

All of us have to accept the Gay Life no matter we think or believe in but surely there should be some balance

Welcome Soviet Union of Great Britain

RED LEN HAILS ED'S PLANS AND DECLARES: HE'S OUR NEXT PM
Union boss Len McCluskey last night hailed Ed Miliband as Britain’s next prime minister and said the country stood on the ‘brink of change’.
The Unite general secretary praised Labour for a series of ‘radical’ policies, including the ‘freeze’ on energy prices, the mansion tax and the 50p income tax rate.
And he praised Mr Miliband for planning to repeal ‘some of the worst anti-union’ laws with a commission headed by John Monks, the former TUC general secretary.
Addressing a rally of trade unionists in London, Mr McCluskey, whose union is Labour’s biggest donor, said: ‘Our nation stands on the brink of change.
‘In ten days the people will cast their vote. They will pass their judgment on the last five years of Tory coalition, on the Labour Party and on Ed Miliband – as our leader and our next Prime Minister.’ He said Labour offered ‘something different’ and told the audience: ‘Is it radical enough? You judge for yourself.’
Labour would ‘end bogus self-employment and put a stop to the zero-hour contracts that have become a stain on our nation,’ Mr McCluskey added. ‘On tax they’re going to tackle non-doms, a 50p tax rate for those who can afford it, a mansion tax and above all tackling tax avoidance.’
He said David Cameron’s pledge to ‘finish the job’ of deficit reduction were ‘perhaps the scariest words in the English language’.
Last week Mr McCluskey was caught boasting that trade unions ‘own’ the Labour Party and its policies. In the Unite magazine he wrote: ‘The Labour Party is our party, we built it, to serve us. These are our policies. They are now within our grasp.’

God & Lawn Care

GOD & LAWN CARE

You will chuckle as you read this ..... Because as stupid as it may sound, this is exactly what we do!

GOD to ST. FRANCIS:
Frank
,  ....  You know all about gardens and nature. What in
the world is going on down there on the planet? What
happened to the dandelions, violets, milkweeds and stuff
I started eons ago?   I had a perfect no-maintenance garden
plan. Those plants grow in any type of soil, withstand
drought and multiply with abandon. The nectar from the
long-lasting blossoms attracts butterflies, honey bees and
flocks of songbirds. I expected to see a vast garden of
colors by now. But, all I see are these green rectangles.
St. FRANCIS:
It's the tribes that settled there, Lord. The Suburbanites.
They started calling your flowers 'weeds' and went to
great lengths to kill them and replace them with grass.
GOD:

Grass? But, it's so boring. It's not colorful. It doesn't
attract butterflies, birds and bees; only grubs and sod
worms. It's sensitive to temperatures. Do these
Suburbanites really want all that grass growing there?
ST. FRANCIS:

Apparently so, Lord. They go to great pains to grow it
and keep it green. They begin each spring by fertilizing
grass and poisoning any other plant that crops up in the lawn.
GOD:

The spring rains and warm weather probably make
grass grow really fast. That must make the Suburbanites happy.

ST. FRANCIS:
Apparently not, Lord. As soon as it grows a little, they
cut it-sometimes twice a week.
GOD:

They cut it? Do they then bale it like hay?

ST. FRANCIS:
Not exactly, Lord. Most of them rake it up and put it in bags.

GOD:

They bag it? Why? Is it a cash crop? Do they sell it?

ST. FRANCIS:

No, Sir, just the opposite. They pay to throw it away.
GOD:

Now, let me get this straight. They fertilize grass so
it will grow. And, when it does grow, they cut it off
and pay to throw it away?
ST. FRANCIS:

Yes, Sir.

GOD:

These Suburbanites must be relieved in the summer
when we cut back on the rain and turn up the heat.
That surely slows the growth and saves them a lot of work.

ST. FRANCIS:
You aren't going to believe this, Lord. When the grass
stops growing so fast, they drag out hoses and pay
more money to water it, so they can continue to mow
it and pay to get rid of it.
GOD:

What nonsense. At least they kept some of the trees.
That was a sheer stroke of genius, if I do say so myself.
The trees grow leaves in the spring to provide beauty
and shade in the summer. In the autumn, they fall to
the ground and form a natural blanket to keep moisture
in the soil and protect the trees and bushes. It's a
natural cycle of life.

ST. FRANCIS:
You better sit down, Lord. The Suburbanites have
drawn a new circle. As soon as the leaves fall, they
rake them into great piles and pay to have them
hauled away.
GOD:

No!? What do they do to protect the shrub and
tree roots in the winter to keep the soil moist and loose?
ST. FRANCIS:

After throwing away the leaves, they go out and buy
something which they call mulch. They haul it home
and spread it around in place of the leaves.
GOD:

And where do they get this mulch?
ST. FRANCIS:

They cut down trees and grind them up to make the mulch.

GOD:

Enough! I don't want to think about this anymore.
St. Catherine, you're in charge of the arts. What movie
have you scheduled for us tonight?

ST. CATHERINE:
'Dumb and Dumber', Lord. It's a story about....

GOD:
Never mind, I think I just heard the whole story
from St. Francis.

Rent Control?

Dear Martin,

The Labour Party has announced plans to introduce rent controls and three year tenancies as standard if they are elected to Government in May.

The RLA has long argued that rent controls will deter investment and choke the supply of decent homes to rent. A recent RLA survey of members revealed that three out of five landlords would leave, or consider leaving, the private rented market if rent controls were introduced, click here for more information.

Instead of solving the housing shortage, rent controls will simply lead to less investment into properties causing poorer conditions for tenants who will have less choice as Landlords leave the market altogether.

Backing our concerns, Labour’s Communities Minister in Wales, Lesley Griffiths AM cited her own worries about Rent Controls in February this year (2015) telling the Welsh Assembly that rent controls, “reduce the incentive for landlords to invest and can then lead to a reduction in quality housing.”

The RLA is busy opposing rent controls with RLA Chairman Alan Ward speaking to the BBC and featuring in the Guardian, Telegraph and the Daily Mail.

Visit the RLA General Election 2015 website for more information. Here you can also download our Election Manifesto which sets out our views on Rent Controls in full.

Food Banks are they needed?

Food Banks is it a Myth?

Recently an article appeared that there are a Million people using food banks, this could be true BUT are they really in need I DOUBT IT.

It is always been the case that if you give something for Free more and more will take advantage of it we have all heard of the stories of people using the food banks turning up in cars, still drinking alcohol, smoking, having tattoo, flat screen TV etc. Left wing press like the Guardian, Church of England and BBC will try and say this is completely unfounded, right wing press will say it is a true account. Now I do not know what the complete truth is because I do not use a food bank and have to be honest I would not lower myself to do so, although I do sympathise with homeless, these a genuine people down on their luck and it is one of the few charities I donate to

Yet I have come across two examples on how food banks do not have any checks and balances, two my Tenants one in his forties and one in his sixties were both on employment benefit. They were informed by the Benefit Office their benefit would be stopped because of changed circumstances both immediately went to the food bank for help. No one asked to check their flats to see if they had food (which they both had) no one checked to see what their life style was and no one asked why they needed food after only a couple of days being without benefits. Both were given £50 worth of food and one had £40 towards his electric yet with in 10 days they were reinstated and the unemployment benefit backdated, were they asked to pay back what the had from the food bank NO!

Do I blame them NO if some one offers you something for nothing why not take it but I do blame the people who run these food banks for not making checks so the real needy only receive this charity. Most of those on food bank charity are there because they cannot cope with the daily rigors of life, so maybe instead of just giving away food these food bank charities should be educating them on how to cope. Teach them how to manage money, cook healthy cheap food, make them realise that having flat screen TV, computers, games, cars, smoking drinking are not essentials in life they are a luxury not a right.

Before you say that’s all right for to talk you have money, that is true and I worked for it but I was not always in the position I am in now. Let me take you back to 1975 when I was 25, I was married with tree children 5 and under, this was a time when we were all taught to live within our means. Getting things on tick  (HP) being on the dole, claiming benefit was frowned upon as for Housing Benefit we had never heard of it. My weekly wage was about £45 week in the summer it was topped up by my wife working in the fields and orchards in Kent. Because of Health and safety issues you no longer see lorries picking up women and kids and the social stigma on women doing menial tasks orchestrated by left-wing women libbers made the earning of pin money to help the family a thing of the past.

In 1975 I earned £45 per week according to the Internet that equates to £263.92 today my mortgage was £50 p.c.m equates today as £293 petrol was  .72p a gallon equates to £4.22p in today money. Interest rates were 11.78% compared with .5% 2014 Retail Price index 1975 24.9% compared with 1% today. So in general we are better of then in 1975

A 3 Bedroom house rent is about £750 in Kent, if you are on benefit this is paid in housing benefit plus most of your Council Tax is paid, if you are on low income you get help with the rent. I have been on the governments web site and found a Family of 4 get approx. £450 per week on various benefits. I would suggest most families manage on this, so why the need for Food Banks? I expect 90% of those on benefit would rather work yet what about the 10%

So why is that most families and myself in the 1970’s did not need any help from government institutions and charities? Simple we only spent what we could afford we kept with in our budget and if that meant a bit of hardship for a short while so be it. The problem with today as we are told by the left-wing political elite and the Church of England that we (society) no longer have to accept responsibility for what we do, we are to blame everyone else and expect others to pay for our mistakes.

I expect all the lefties will condom me and they will my figures are wrong but my argument that we must all live within our means stands
