So all the self interested Europhiles are coming together to try and prevent a referendum that’s a surprise. This business is whether you want GB to be an Independent Country with the freedom to decide their own destiny or become a just a minor state in the proposed United States of Europe. Those who want the latter are traitors to the British People and our Democracy

They say the EU is good for us, but what I do not like and I am sure many others feel the same is that we are a Democratic Country and the EU is run by Unelected Dictatorial Bureaucrats, paying themselves vast amounts of money to fund their lavish lifestyles.What I find also quite frightening is their main aim is to eventually become a Federal Europe What was the point of our Soldiers losing their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting for (supposedly) Democracy when one day our Politicians may be prepared to sign up to a Federal State. Not one Politician has had the decency to explain to the People of this Country in detail what the EU is really all about and how in the future it will affect us,so naturally a lot of us are concerned. Whatever changes are made in the EU affects the lives of the Men & Women in the Street not the Politicians. We only have to look at the opening of our borders by Blair and Labour to see what an impact that has had on the lives of the People here.

So Cameron is going to 'Consult' with Merkel, Obama and Hollande. I would imagine they will tell this spineless man what he will say to the British people. The electorate are getting heartily sick of the patronising speeches, the insults that he throws out. I've always voted Conservative, but never again whilst this halfwit is Prime Minister.

Cameron is a weakling and a closet Europhile,time for the conservative party to get rid of him or face many years in the political wilderness.The only party in tune with the majority of the general public on this issue is UKIP.

"But there are growing fears among Eurosceptic Ministers that if he fails to make it clear that quitting is an option ...". Which bit of "We'd be MAD to leave Europe" haven't they understood? Agree or disagree, unlike many politicians he has at least made it clear where he stands.

I supported the UK joining the common market as at the time of the referendum it was supposed to be joining a sort of glorified European Free Trade Association. Most people were OK with that. But European Federalists have always seen the common market aspect as a stepping stone and aide to federalism. They have an agenda which is far removed from the purely economic aspects of the European Union as it has now become. For example- What does giving our DVLA info to Europe have to do with economics and the single market? Half our trade comes from Europe and the other half doesn't. So why aren't politicians screaming that it is madness that we aren't in an economic union with that half of the world that isn't EU based? That obvious fact seems to have escaped their attention. As for EU trade it has to be remembered that we buy more from them than they buy from us so they would be more than anxious to make sure that we aren't lost as a market for their goods.
